HELLO DANIEL HERE!!!!
Have you ever wondered what an ACOUSTIC GUITAR is. Well here is where I explain.
The acoustic guitar is a hollow-bodied instrument that amplifies the vibration of a string when it is struck. It is composed of the following parts:
> Head
At the top of the guitar and typically has 6 tuning pegs that can be rotated to adjust the pitch of the guitar. At the lower part of the head is the nut that anchors the strings as they are pulled through these tuning pegs.
> Neck
This is where you will find the fretboard and strings. The fretboard is conposed of subdivisions called frets that outline the notes for each string. The the lower frets (more to the head) have a lower pitch and the higher fret (more to the body) have a highers pitch. You can either play single notes of the fretboard or groups of notes that make chords.
> Body
This is a chamber with a hole where the sound from a string or group of strings can be amplified. That is the great part about the acoustic...it doesn't need to be plugged it and can be played anywhere without electrical amplification.
> Bridge
This is where the strings are anchored into the body of the guitar and work with the nut (at the head) to be lifted a few millimeters from the fretboard. This establishes a string height that makes playing the guitar comfortable and avoids something called fretbuzz when the strings are too low of a height.
